Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen has said that a vested quarter killed Rohingya leader Mohibullah as he wanted to return to Myanmar.
The foreign minister came up with the remark in a statement sent to media houses on Saturday. It is the first remark after assailants gunned down the Rohingya leader at Lambashia camp-1 under Ukhiya upazila in Cox’s Bazar on Wednesday night.
He also vowed to bring the killers of Mohibullah to justice soon. The government will take stern actions against those who were involved in the killing. Nobody will be spared, he added.
Mohibullah was the chairman of Arakan Rohingya Society for Peace and Human Rights (ARSPH)
