Members of Armed Police Battalion (APBn) arrested two more Rohingya men in connection with the killing of Rohingya leader master Mohammad Mohibullah.
The arrestees are known as Ziaur Rahman and Abdus Salam.
The law enforcers conducted a drive in Ukhiya’s Kutupalang Rohingya camp early Saturday (October 02) and arrested them.
SP Naimul Haque, commander of the 14th Armed Police Battalion, confirmed their arrests.
The arrestees were handed over to Ukhiya police station on the night, SP Naimul Haque said.
Earlier on Friday (October 01), the Armed Police Battalion (APBn) detained a Rohingya man named Mohammad Selim Ullah Prokash alias Lomba Selim from camp-6 in Ukhiya’s Kutupalang on suspicion of his being involved in the killing of Rohingya leader Mohibullah.
On Thursday (September 30), a case was filed in connection with the murder of Mohibullah, chairman of Arakan Rohingya Society for Peace and Human Rights.
Mohibullah’s younger brother Habibullah filed the case with Ukhia Police Station on Thursday night against about 200 unknown assailants
