Two young men from Ukhia have been missing for 8 years while going to Malaysia by sea

8 years ago, two youths from Kutupalong village of Rajapalang union in Ukhiya upazila of Cox’s Bazar left for Malaysia by sea with a golden dream and went missing. They are Sujit Sharma, son of Niranjan Sharma of Kutupalong village and Mohammad Ibrahim, son of Syed Nur Saudagar. .

According to their family sources, they started their journey to Malaysia by sea unknowingly at the risk of their lives to turn the wheel of fortune 8 years ago. Just before leaving, Sujit Sharma and Mohammad Ibrahim informed their relatives that they were going to Malaysia by sea. After hearing this news, extreme frustration came down in the family. The family members could not turn them away from the journey after hearing the message of peace.

The families of the unfortunate youth did not even know whether they were in Myanmar or Malaysia. At present, the family members are lost in their search.

Meanwhile, DSB police was coming to the house of the missing youths from the special branch of Bangladesh Police to investigate the fact that they were detained in Myanmar jail in 2014. DSB Memorandum No. 2894 (2) / 9400 19-5-2014.


The family members of the missing youths have appealed to the concerned department of the Bangladesh government to cooperate in finding the missing youths Sujit Sharma and Mohammad Ibrahim. They appealed to the concerned department to arrange for their return to Myanmar, Malaysia, Andaman and Thailand.
