Indian actor Priyanka Chopra and American musician and actor Nick Jonas have gotten engaged a few months after confirming their relationship.
The couple, both wearing traditional Indian attire, were engaged at a private ceremony in Mumbai on Saturday.
Nick Jonas is a Texan singer and a former member of the Jonas Brothers and is known for his singing, acting, song-writing and production work.
No date has yet been announced for the wedding, according to a BBC report.

The engagement party – called a roka – is a chance for the couple to exchange gifts and makes the union of their families public. Their guests included Alia Bhatt, Mukesh, Nita and Isha Ambani, Priyanka’s cousin Parineeti Chopra, Salman Khan’s sister Arpita, producer Siddharth Roy Kapur, filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj and others.
Chopra made her transition from Bollywood to Hollywood as the lead of ABC show ‘Quantico’, in which she played an FBI recruit-turned-CIA agent.

Jonas was part of a band with his brothers Joe and Kevin and became teen stars on the Disney Channel through films like ‘Camp Rock’. He has since gone solo, with hits including ‘Levels’, ‘Jealous’ and ‘Chains’. He is also a mentor on the ‘X Factor’ alongside ‘Camp Rock’ co-star Demi Lovato.
At 25, he is a decade younger than Chopra. It was rumoured that Jonas proposed to Chopra in June, after reportedly closing down a jewellery shop to buy her an expensive engagement ring.
