Ignoring protests, demonstrations and international calls, Myanmar’s military junta has vowed to stay in power.
However, the junta did not specify the timeline for the transfer of power to the civil administration by holding elections after a certain period of time.
Myanmar’s spokesman Brigadier General Zaw Min Tun said this on Thursday (March 11).
On February 1, the army overthrew the Myanmar’s ruling NLD and through a coup.
At least 70 people have been killed so far in the protests in Myanmar.
