‘Major Sinha’s murder an isolated incident, no rift between army-police’

The incident albeit a regrettable one, will not cause a rift between the army and the police due to the mutual understanding and respect we have for each other,’ says IGP Benazir Ahmed

Chief of Army Staff General Aziz Ahmed and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Benazir Ahmed have both stressed that the killing of retired Bangladesh Army major Sinha Md Rashed Khan will not create a rift between the two forces.

Meanwhile, IGP Benazir Ahmed said: “The incident albeit a regrettable one, will not cause a rift between the army and the police due to the mutual understanding and respect we have for each other.”
