2 robbers killed in Cox’s Bazar gunfight

Two robbers were killed in a gunfight with members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) at Shaplapur Merine Drive road in Teknaf Upazila of Cox’s Bazar early Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Nur Kamal alias Sonaya, son of Nur Ahmed of Leda Rohingya camp and Saiful Islam alias DB Saiful, son of Abdus Shukkur of Mouchni camp in the Upazila.

RAB said that both of them are members of a robbers gang of Joki, a top terrorist of the Teknaf Rohingya camp.

Acting on information that a group of robbers were preparing to commit a robbery on Merine Drive road, a team of RAB conducted a drive in the area, said the commander of CPSC, RAB-15, Major Mehedi.
