2 killed, 3 injured in Cox’s Bazar road accident

2 passengers were killed in a collision between a minibus and a tomtom at Kharulia in Cox’s Bazar Sadar upazila. 3 other passengers in the autorickshaw were injured. The injured have been admitted to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital.

The accident took place in the East Kharulia Deingapara area of ​​the Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar highway around 5:30 pm on Wednesday (August 25).

The deceased were identified as Kamal Hossain, 20, son of late Shafiqur Rahman of Malapara area of ​​Jowarianala union of Ramu and Ramzan Ali, 20, son of Abdul Aziz of the same area. The injured were rescued and sent to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital.

Ramu Tulabagan Crossing Highway Police Station Sub-Inspector Mohammad Mohsin confirmed the matter and said a minibus named Chakaria Service was coming towards Cox’s Bazar. This time there was a head-on collision with Tomtom coming from the opposite direction. 2 people died on the spot. 3 more were injured. The injured have been admitted to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital.
